University of Buckingham Press (UBP) is an independent publisher of wide-ranging trade and academic books and journals.
Our aim is to help forge a future path for both education and university presses.
Originally set up in 1985, University of Buckingham Press is an independent academic publisher that works closely with the University of Buckingham, the UK’s first private university. In 2019, it was acquired by award-winning publishing group Legend Times and is based on Gower Street in London.
UBP publishes a range of trade and academic books covering subjects including education, humanities, art, law, medicine, artificial intelligence, cyber security and the environment. It also has a range of academic journals, published under both subscription and Open Access models, and doubled its number of journal products in the second half of 2020.
As well as its growing book list, UBP publishes a wide range of academic journals, of which the majority are available under Open Access, covering subjects including education, medicine, law, cyber security, well-being and economics.
UBP is also working with a growing number of university departments and professional associations on new journal projects. If publishing a journal is of interest, contact with 'UBP' in the subject line of your email.
